About the course
The Body Calm is a self-guided online course designed to help you understand and ease anxiety. It includes breathwork, visualisation, hypnotherapy, somatic practices and gentle emotional work.
Self-help, not therapy
The course is education and self-help. It isn't a substitute for medical advice, psychotherapy or psychiatric care, and it doesn't create a therapeutic relationship between you and The Body Calm or its creators. It isn't designed to treat complex trauma, PTSD or serious mental illness.
Is it right for you?
You're responsible for deciding whether the course suits you. If you live with psychosis, schizophrenia or another severe or unstable mental health condition, please speak with your treating professional before starting.
Feelings may come up
Working with the body and long-held patterns can bring up sadness, fear, grief or other strong emotions, sometimes unexpectedly. This is a normal part of this kind of work, and everyone's experience is different. We've designed the course with care, but we can't guarantee difficult feelings won't arise.
You set the pace
You can pause, skip or stop any exercise at any time. If something feels like too much, step back and reach out to a qualified professional or someone you trust. If distress continues, please seek professional guidance before carrying on.
